General Information Collection and Use

The Maryland Kids of Deaf Adults (the “Organization”) is the sole owner of the information collected on www.mdkoda.org (the “Site”). Organization does not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Organization collects information from our users at several different points on Site.

Log Files

Organization does not use IP addresses in any way.

Cookies

Site does not use cookies. A "cookie" is a piece of data stored on User’s hard drive containing information about User.

Sharing

Organization does not share your information with anybody, unless you authorized us to do so. Organization does not sell email addresses.

Registration

In order to receive certain updates, User may have to first complete a registration form. During registration, User is required to give User’s contact information (the “User’s Information”). User’s Information is used to contact User about the updates on our site for which they have expressed interest. If asked for, it is optional for User to provide demographic information (age and gender) but encouraged so we can provide a more personalized experience on Site.

Newsletters

If User wishes to subscribe to Organization’s newsletter, Organization asks for contact information such as names and email address. Organization operates Vertical Response and contact lists to reach its members who request such information. These names and email addresses which housed on Email Coordinator’s computer are never shared with any other organization and users may opt out of participating or receiving email information from Organization at any time.

Corrections/Updating Membership Information

If User’s information changes, this can be sent by User. Contact President at pridekoda@mdkoda.org.
