Maryland Kids of Deaf Adults Terms of Use Agreement

Welcome to the Maryland Kids of Deaf Adults, a state’s non-profit organization (the “Organization”). Whether you are a member (the “User”) of Organization or a guest (the “Guest”) invited by Organization to use www.mdkoda.org (the “Site”), your use of the Site is subject to these Terms of Use Agreement (the “Agreement”). Guest’s role is responsible to read and accept as User. Maryland Kids of Deaf Adults reserves the right to update and change the Agreement from time to time without notice or acceptance by you. The Agreement is the sole property of Organization and is protected by copyright.

Accuracy of Information

All of the information on Site is for entertainment and or educational purposes only. While Organization makes every effort to ensure that all information displayed on Site is accurate, complete, and honestly offered, none of the information on Site should be considered solely reliable for use. User is expressly advised that it is User’s responsibility to verify any and all information on those web sites and pages before User rely on that information to make any purchases or use the information in any other way. Organization acts as a writer, publisher and also as a distributor of content supplied by third parties. Organization and its third-party providers do not warrant or guarantee that any of the information on this web site is accurate, complete, useful or timely. Organization neither endorses or is responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any opinion, advice or statement made on Site by anyone other than authorized Organization’s committee members while acting in their official capacities. Organization may make improvements and/or changes in the information, products or services described herein at any time and while it is highly unlikely, Site may cease publication at any time. Periodic updates to Site are not guaranteed.

User agrees to use the site that you see solely for lawful purposes. No right, title or interest in any content is transferred to you, whether as a result of downloading such content or otherwise. Organization reserves complete full rights in all contents.

User agrees not to take any action that might compromise the security of Site render the site inaccessible to others or otherwise cause damage to Site.

User agrees not to add to, subtract from or otherwise modify the content, or to attempt to access any content that is not intended for you.

User agrees not to use Site in any manner that might interfere with the rights of third parties.

Thank you for your interest in linking to Site. Organization provides information for members, volunteers, chairpersons and committee members as part of Organization’s mission to help kids of deaf adults to be part of Deaf culture.

Please be aware that www.mdkoda.org is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by this web site.

Please refer to and use the following guidelines when setting up a link to Site1. Organization does NOT endorse companies, products or services, and strictly prohibits any suggestion of endorsement, recommendation, or superiority of one company, product or service over another company, product or service.

  1. Organization does not allow framing of its Site. When setting up a link to the Site, it should open in a new Web browser window rather than displaying the pages in a frame of the linking site’s Web template, when frames are used in the site’s design.

  2. Links directly to Site should be text-only and you may use Organization’s logo as a link, as our logo can be shown on your site.

Logos / Advertisers:

If you, advertiser (the “Consultant”) would like to place a logo on Site, we will accept it. If you have any questions, please contact us. Consultant’s correspondence or business dealings with, or participation in promotions of, Consultant found on or through the Site, including payment and delivery of related goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between User and Consultant. Consultant agrees that Organization shall not be responsible or liable for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of any such dealings or as the result of the presence of such Consultants on Site. Consultant’s advertisement placement will be subject to additional terms.

Cancellation and Termination:

If User cancels the MDKODA membership before the end of the term, User’s cancellation will take effect immediately. After cancellation, you will no longer have access to your website and all information contained therein may be deleted by Organization. Organization accepts no liability for such deleted information or content. If you are a guest, Organization who invites you may request Organization to, and Organization may, terminate your temporary membership at any time and for any reason.
